The Maze (130 x 130 cm) - We were commissioned to design a piece for the entrance hall, to be placed next to Tabor Robak's nine-minute video loop Where's My Water?, which is also part of MoMA's collection. Where's My Water? is a meditation on labor, featuring brightly colored tools falling from the sky into empty containers. Inspired by Robak's piece, we used the container as our starting point. The viewer is "trapped" in a maze of shipping containers, with no way out, much like in a video loop. This concept also references labor and symbolizes the crossing of water between the Netherlands, where this piece was created, and the United States, where it now is displayed. However, true to the title of Robak's masterpiece, the water itself is nowhere to be seen.

The Catch (90 x 130 cm)
- Boston Harbor and New England waters are famous for their lobster fishing. Inspired by a 3D LEGO artwork already selected for the hotel, we aimed to create a fun image with a bright color palette.

The Player (90 x 50 cm)
- Building on the theme of the Boston Red Sox, this piece combines a vintage 1960s look with a futuristic twist: a humanoid baseball player in a blend of classic and futuristic attire. The result is an intriguing image that prompts a second glance—are we seeing the past or the future?
